2015 has been a busy year for Joywave.  They released their debut album How Do You Feel Now?, worked with Keith Schofield on their Tony Hawk-approved video for single “Somebody New” (see here), performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live and VH1’s Big Morning Buzz, toured the U.S. and Europe opening for Bleachers, Brandon Flowers and The Kooks, wrapping that tour with a buzzworthy performance at Summerstage in Central Park last night.  Touted as one of the “20 Bands You Need to See This Summer” by, Joywave have announced that they will embark on their first headlining U.S. tour this fall on the World Tour USA 2015 with special guests Alpine. The tour announcement comes in conjunction with their sharing a remix of their single “Somebody New” by former tour-mates St. Lucia. Speaking about the inspiration behind the remix, St. Lucia’s Jean-Philip Grobler said, “Joywave supported us on our Fall Tour at the end of last year, and each night I watched them play I became a bigger and bigger fan. I actually asked them if I could remix one of their tracks, and I’m so glad they picked Somebody New. I always found it interesting how the arrangement of the song was so rocking, but the melody was so dreamy, and so I felt like I should up the dreamyness ante with my remix.”

See below for all of the band’s Fall tour dates and St. Lucia’s remix of “Somebody New” as well as Howson’s Groove Remix of “Somebody New” available exclusively via Wonderland.
