California thrash metal band Slayer have announced their next album, Repentless, for release on September 11, 2015.

The album will be a follow-up to 2009’s World Painted Blood and the group’s first album since the firing of drummer Dave Lombardo and the death of guitarist Jeff Hanneman, both in 2013 (see here). Lombardo joined Amen in 2014 and has said that he will never be going back to Slayer. You can watch the 30-second announcement video for Repentless below. This will be their 11th record.
