For Fans Of: Cash Cash, Jack Ü, Steve Aoki, Seinabo Sey, Zedd, Dada Life
NYC native EDM DJ duo, The Chainsmokers, just released the music video for their hit single, “Roses” (ft. Rozes) today. Check out the visual, shot by Rory Kramer, now via Mashable! “Roses” is the guys’ second release on long-time manager Adam Alpert’s newly formed record label – Disruptor Records (Sony).
The track has generated a massive buzz amongst fans and critics alike in the weeks since its release, and the guys are excited to finally share the video.
“The video is really about our lives while on the road juxtaposed with the special small moments we get to spend with our girls. We took Rory Kramer on our West Coast run and Asia tour and he is brilliant at capturing these special moments in even the most mundane places,” said The Chainsmokers. “We feel like it captures the spirit of the song in a really honest way in the classic tour video perspective. We travel a lot away from family and friends but our jobs are addicting along with all the moments we get to share with each other, our fans and girls along the way.”
Following the recent unveiling of their live setup, The Full Monte, at Firefly Music Festival, the guys will also be hitting many additional festivals including Lollapalooza, TomorrowLand, and more. Stay tuned for more exciting announcements in the coming weeks – including details of a massive fall tour.
“It’s becoming increasingly apparent that ‘#Selfie’ was just a way for these guys to get their foot in the door. “Roses” is the futuristic synthpop of my dreams.” -Stereogum
